One of my favorite scenes from my all-time favorite- Final Fantasy VII. The facade of JENOVA being ripped away.

Few moments in gaming history are as seared into memory as this one. When Sephiroth tears away the angelic mask hiding Jenova’s grotesque truth, it marks a spiritual rupture—his final break from humanity.

The symbolism isn’t lost. As the mask falls, so too does the illusion of nobility. What remains is only Sephiroth—singular, mythic, and monstrous.
